General & Family Physician 's  Response
It may be due to wrist strain, sprained wrist or rarely fracture
Advice
1.     Give rest to your involved wrist for few days
2.     Do not keep using the wrist as this will only cause additional damage
3.     Ibuprofen 600 mg three times daily after meal for 3 days then as per need
4.     Cold compression with ice pack – every 2 hours
5.     Use a compression bandage
6.     Keep your wrist above the level of the heart to reduce swelling and encourage excess fluids to drain away
7.     Investigation – X – ray wrist

Thanks
